Project Description

The Indiana Science Assessment is a multi-agency scientific initiative examining the effectiveness of conservation practices in reducing nutrient loads in Indiana waterways. Commissioned to design a series of 20+ technical bulletins, the challenge was taking dense, unformatted research documents and producing clear, visually structured information sheets for two distinct audiences — farmers and landowners on one hand, and researchers and conservation professionals on the other. Each bulletin required the same underlying science to work at both levels of technical depth, making information hierarchy and visual clarity the primary design problem to solve.
